Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven. The aunt of her mother, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness with roles that she was able to land on the smaller screen as well as on the big. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer and dancer. As a mother to two kids, she's become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has also promoted awareness of the disease since her younger sister died due to the disease at 19.
